Chronic conditions
Nutrition for type 2 diabetes and GI conditions, with fewer rules
Bodies can be really frustrating. You're doing everything you've been told, and your blood sugar still spikes or your stomach still flares, and nobody can quite tell you why. I'll help you make sense of what's going on, feel more confident feeding yourself, and let go of the rules that aren't actually helping.
Sound like you?
When your diagnosis came with a list of rules
- You've been told to cut out sugar, carbs, or a long list of foods, and now you're not sure what's left.
- You're trying so hard to find your triggers that every meal feels like a science experiment.
- Going gluten-free for celiac disease feels like losing one more thing you love.
- You're doing everything “right,” and your body still isn't cooperating.
What we work on
Care for your condition, and your relationship with food
Type 2 diabetes
Carbs aren't off the table. We'll work on pairing them so your blood sugar stays steadier, and yes, dessert can still fit. If you have type 1 diabetes, I'm happy to refer you to a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
IBS
Finding your triggers without turning every meal into a test. Stress can make IBS worse, so sometimes easing up on the detective work is part of the plan.
Celiac, Crohn's, and ulcerative colitis
Room for the grief that can come with a diagnosis, and practical help making the foods you can have genuinely exciting.
Confidence feeding yourself
Some of it is nutrition knowledge, and some of it is learning to trust your body's cues again.
Where I stand
One less thing on your plate
Managing a chronic condition is a job on top of everything else you're already juggling. Every meal comes with questions you never used to have to ask, and it can feel like one more thing to get right when you're already stretched thin. My goal is to make it feel easier, not to hand you another chore. That usually means fewer rules and more flexibility, so food can start feeling like food again.
Whenever you're ready
Let's make food feel manageable again
A free 15‑minute call is an easy first step. Bring your questions, your confusion, and your list of foods you've been told to avoid.
